The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS), is the governing body, which has been entrusted with the task of enabling the recruitment of the employees through its examination process. This model has been developed to reduce the time line in the recruitment cycle of banks. The candidates are to take test only once to be eligible for all public sector banks and the banks have talent 'On Tap' with IBPS score card through the platform of CWE, candidates can apply to the bank/s of their choice at the same time on the basis of the score card.

IBPS conducts Common Written Exam (CWE) for the following posts:

Probationary Officer/Management Trainee
Specialist Officer
Officers & Assistants (For RRBs: Regional Rural Banks)



  • Age Limit: Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
  • Note : Age Relaxation (years)
  • Category : SC/ST 5 Years, OBC 3 Years, PWD 10 Years, Domiciled in J&K during the period 01/01/1980 - 31/12/1989 5 Years.
  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
