CAT 2015 had both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) & Non Multiple Choice Questions. Scoring Pattern for MCQs was +3 (for every correct answer) & -1 (for every wrong answer). For Non MCQ questions, 3 marks were awarded for correct answer, while there was no negative marking for a wrong answer.
The second stage of the selection process by IIMs consists of Writing Assessment Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of a candidate depends on CAT score, previous academic record & performance in WAT/GD/PI.

- Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by beginning of October of the year of start of the course.
